The ECEC Library
The ECEC Library is another unique addition to the community site. Adjacent to the Outpost coffee shop, it provides a varied selection of genres for your enjoyment. You are invited to browse through over 5000 donated books, sit a spell and sip your favorite coffee drink. While you are here, be sure and check out our books that are for sale. Sale of these books helps to fund the library programs. We welcome you to look around, enjoy yourself and hopefully "pick up a good read". Computers and Wi-Fi access are both available to area residents and travellers during library hours. The quiet, well equipped building has ample room, seating and amenities for meetings and small conferences.
Hours
We are open from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Books may also be returned whenever the coffee shop is open. You may also order books online from the Douglas County Library and pick them up or return them here.
Volunteers
The library is staffed by wonderful volunteers who will be happy to assist you. If you would like to donate a few hours a month in the library, or a few dollars, either would be greatly appreciated. Please call the ECEC office at (541)584-2692 or Ellie Smartt at (541)584-2506 for more information.
